Why Curiosity Matters

At KOKAI, curiosity is a core value.

Curiosity challenges assumptions, encourages exploration, and helps organisations discover better ways of working with data and planning.

In a world where technology evolves rapidly, curiosity enables organisations to stay ahead rather than standing still.

Better questions lead to better insight.
Better insight leads to better decisions.

That is why “Stay Curious” is a fundamental value at KOKAI.

Our Story

Past, present and future

KOKAI, founded in Norway in 2020, is a key player in business intelligence (BI) and financial planning and analysis (FP&A), with a focus on cutting-edge data solutions backed by Microsoft technology. KOKAI's comprehensive knowledge of Power BI and the Microsoft Fabric platform enables organisations to navigate the complexity of modern data management and achieve exceptional performance gains.

KOKAI is dedicated to revolutionising data management with our experience in Microsoft Fabric, a unified data platform that simplifies data integration, processing, and analytics. This innovative technology enables organisations to streamline workflows, eliminate data silos, and gain a holistic view of their operations, resulting in improved decision-making and more efficient performance. Our strategic use of Power BI alongside Fabric allows us to deliver actionable insights via advanced analytics and interactive visualisations.

KOKAI’s mission goes beyond providing powerful data tools. We are dedicated to enhancing the client experience by exceeding expectations. Our comprehensive approach to data management includes robust security and governance solutions, ensuring data integrity and compliance for our clients.

KOKAI's adventure began with the founding of KOKAI Consulting, which brought together a group of experienced BI and FP&A experts. Our company grew fast, and in 2022, we co-founded Aimplan with the goal of developing the world's leading FP&A solution based on Microsoft Power BI. Since its launch in 2023, Aimplan has seen great commercial success, recruiting partners and customers from Scandinavia, Europe, and across the globe.

As we grow larger, KOKAI stays committed to developing an organisation focused on providing exceptional customer experiences. By consistently pushing the boundaries of what is possible, we aim to form long-term relationships and lead the next generation of data-driven solutions.

Our Approach

At KOKAI, every engagement starts with understanding the questions organisations need to answer.

How can planning become more dynamic?
How can data become more accessible?
How can analytics support better decisions?

By combining business understanding with modern technology, we design solutions that create real value for our customers.

Progress Starts With a Question

Technology will continue to evolve.

Data will continue to grow.

The organisations that succeed will be the ones that remain curious about how data, planning, and analytics can create better decisions.

At KOKAI, that curiosity guides everything we do.
