Transition to Phase Four. The Road Ahead.

We have just closed the strongest year in KOKAI’s history. Solid financial performance, strong organic growth and increasing demand for our expertise have given us an exceptionally strong starting point. We have achieved this in a period marked by geopolitical instability, economic uncertainty and rapid technological change. Precisely for that reason, we now enter the next phase with sharper focus, clear direction and high ambitions.

The past year has confirmed that long-term, strategic choices deliver results. We have strengthened our position within FP&A, built strong and lasting partnerships, and established teams and structures that enable us to deliver at a significantly larger scale than before. At the same time, we have preserved what has always been at the core of KOKAI. Close customer relationships, high professional standards and a culture built around people and collaboration.

Among the most important milestones of the year are 30 percent organic growth and a clear acceleration in demand for our services. We have welcomed a record number of new customers across both the private and public sectors and significantly strengthened the organisation through the recruitment of several highly skilled colleagues. We achieved global Platinum Partner status with insightsoftware, established an international delivery organisation for Bizview projects, and built a dedicated Scandinavian team within Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. In parallel, we delivered a record number of projects within Aimplan and Fabric, made a substantial investment in marketing and visibility, and established Powerbridge as a dedicated distributor for Aimplan in the Scandinavian market.

As we now move into phase four of KOKAI’s development, we do so with far greater weight and maturity than when we first started this journey. The company has grown rapidly, but in a controlled and sustainable manner. We have built a strong financial foundation, robust partnerships and a competence environment capable of handling both high change velocity and international scale. This transition is therefore not about changing direction, but about reinforcing the course we have already set.

We have grown rapidly, but with control and intention. Phase four is not about changing direction, it is about reinforcing the course we have already set.

Our ambition is clear. KOKAI aims to be a leading competence environment for modern FP&A solutions built on Microsoft technology. We see a market undergoing rapid transformation, where the demand for insight, speed and quality continues to increase. We firmly believe that the combination of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and Aimplan offers organisations a fundamentally new way of working with planning, reporting and analytics. This is where we intend to take a clear and credible position.

At the same time, we continue to strengthen our global delivery capability for Bizview, in close partnership with insightsoftware. We have established an international team and a delivery model that allows us to execute complex projects with high quality and strong profitability. In phase four, this work will be further professionalised through stronger methodologies, clearer roles and a long-term focus on scalability and margins.

Modern FP&A demands speed, insight and scale. By combining Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and Aimplan, we are redefining how organisations plan, report and analyse.

Scandinavia will remain a key growth engine going forward. Through the establishment of Powerbridge and a dedicated distribution strategy for Aimplan, we are now building a powerful channel for both direct and indirect sales. Our ambitions are high. We see significant market potential, both among existing Power BI customers and new organisations seeking more modern FP&A solutions. The transition towards SaaS models and recurring revenues will be a critical foundation for continued growth.

In this phase, KOKAI Care also takes on a more clearly defined role. Care is not traditional support, but a long-term partnership model. Through a new tier-based structure, we will deliver more proactive value creation, stronger customer loyalty and improved predictability for both our customers and ourselves. Care will become an integrated part of how we work with customers and partners going forward.

Scandinavia will be a key growth engine for us. With Aimplan and a dedicated distribution model, we see strong momentum and significant long-term potential.

All of this rests on one decisive factor. Our people. In phase four, competence development, certifications and continuous learning will be given even greater priority. We will continue to strengthen a culture of knowledge sharing, learning and collaboration across countries and disciplines. KOKAI shall be a place where talented people are given the opportunity to grow, take responsibility and actively shape the company’s future.

Everything we build rests on our people. When talented individuals are given room to grow, the organisation grows with them.
— Oskar Kristiansen

Looking ahead, I am confident that KOKAI is well positioned for the next chapter. We have chosen a clear strategy, built strong relationships and assembled a team that both wants to deliver and knows how to do so. Phase four is about growth, innovation and new market opportunities. But just as importantly, it is about doing the right things, in the right way, over time.
